Born in a small village in Quito, Ecuador, Rene Endara was raised in the harsh neighborhood of east Los Angeles. Being the only boy to make it out of his neighborhood, Rene' credits his success in life to his mother. He states, "Her strength and compassion taught me the ability to overcome the worst obstacles. The ethical and moral values she instilled in me are what makes up my character."

His bodybuilding dream was fueled at age thirteen while watching a competition on television. "I realized that day that hard work and determination were going to be tools for me to rise above my situation and have a purposeful life," recalls Rene'. His 5'6", 125 pound, scrawny frame needed a lot of work, but as the youngest of four children in a single parent household where there was barely enough money for food, a gym membership was out of the question. Never one to act as a victim, Rene' was not going to give up on his dreams. Instead, he became very creative in building muscle. He curled gallons of milk to build his biceps, did pull-ups with bundled books tied to his waist, and strengthened his legs and increased his stamina by running to school with a loaded backpack.

With his mother as his biggest fan and inspired by his own passion. Rene' developed a lot more than just muscle. Rene' imparts, "Because education was a foremost value, I received my degrees." Twenty-one years after beginning his niche. He is a member of the American Academy of Ant-Aging and maintains close contacts with forerunners in various fields of medicine. To keep abreast the ever-improving field of fitness, Rene relies on medical journals as a main source of information.

Currently, Rene' is C.E.O. of his personal training company. Rene' caters to Ft Lauderdale clientele and Anti-aging therapy, corporate seminars, gym design, and fitness club management. His commitment and dedication to his work is readily apparent when you see his mass of muscles. Although his outward appearance and sparkling personality first attracts his clients, his uncanny ability to transfer his knowledge and create dramatic and lasting results captures their loyalty.

Having appeared on ESPN, numerous commercials, and in national magazines, this powerhouse is a familiar face to many and is one of the country's top bodybuilders, Rene' is ready to revolutionize the fitness industry and become 'The Latin American Bodybuilder of North America'. Being self-disciplined isn't easy, but it has made all the difference in Rene's career.

Today you will find Rene' tipping the scales just over 200 pounds of solid muscle and in his best condition ever. This past July he qualified for the nationals at the age of 40 in the Light Heavyweight Class at the very competitive 2007 Southern States. His flawless, symmetrical physique and magnetic artistry will surely earn him a place as a household fitness icon.

Rene' is an athlete, gentleman, scholar, as well as a humanitarian. His future aspirations also include becoming a positive role model for children. But, Rene' declares, "First, I must become the best student before I can become the best teacher." Coming from the bottom and rising to the top is the challenge he thrives on and Rene' feels it is important to empower today's youth with what he holds close to heart: a belief that a person can be anything they want to be.

Rene's accomplishments may be more than most people dare to attempt, but he won't stop until he " walks on water" and fulfills his childhood dream of becoming an Olympian. With his eyes on the prize of a gold medal. Rene's remarkable focus is attributable to, as he puts it, 'My guiding principles of clean living, my love of life, and conviction in self-fulfilling prophecy."
